Thanks for putting into words what I have been feeling for a while.
A lot of people like to freak out about the fact that AI is coming and it is going to make a lot of our jobs obsolete. I look at it in a different way though, more of an optimistic way, AI will automate away the mundane and at the same time push us as a species towards more excellence.
Perhaps many are more scared of the additional work they will have to put in to be excellent rather being excited by imagining what AI will enable them to do.
