You’ve never said yes to something that changed your life when you could see why it would.

Think about it. Every opportunity that actually mattered - the job, the relationship, the move, the project - you said yes when it made no sense. When you couldn’t see the value. When the calculation told you it wasn’t worth it.

You said yes because you were bored. Because saying no felt rude. Because you were curious. Because someone asked twice.

Never because it was strategic. Never because you ran the numbers and they added up. Never because you could see how it would lead to something bigger.

The calculation always said no. You just ignored it.

And that’s the only reason anything good happened.
