At 23, I wanted to keep all my options open.
I had my corporate job. Stable. Reliable. Good salary. But I also wanted to start a podcast. And I had consulting clients on the side. And I was writing when I had time. And exploring a few business ideas. And learning video editing because that seemed useful.
Everyone told me I was smart for diversifying. Building multiple income streams. Not putting all my eggs in one basket.
I felt productive. Busy. Like I was building something.
What I was actually doing was guaranteeing I’d never be great at anything.
