NetDragon Appoints The First Ever AI CEO 🤖
Ms. Tang Yu, an AI-powered virtual humanoid robot, has been appointed as the Rotating CEO of NetDragon Websoft’s flagship subsidiary, Fujian NetDragon Websoft.

Why does this matter?
This move of appointing a virtual humanoid robot by the Chinese-based mobile gaming company would pioneer the use of AI to transform corporate management and leapfrog operational efficiency to a new level.
Role of Tang Yu:
The AI-powered virtual humanoid robot will streamline process flow, enhance work quality, and improve execution speed.
In addition, the AI-supported female bot will also serve as a real-time data hub and analytical tool to support rational decision-making in daily operations.
Dr. Dejian Liu, Chairman of NetDragon, comments:
“Looking forward, we will continue to expand on our algorithms behind Tang Yu to build an open, interactive, and highly transparent management model as we gradually transform to a metaverse-based working community, which will enable us to attract a much broader base of talents worldwide and put us in a position to achieve bigger goals.”
U.S. Economy Added Fewer Jobs in August 🔽
Employers in the United States slowed their hiring in August in the wake of high inflation, rising interest rates, and lesser consumer spending, all of which have led to a weaker economic outlook.

Key Stats:
- The U.S. economy added 315,000 jobs in August, down from 526,000 in July. 📉
- The jobs were below the average gain of the previous three months but just ahead of the 300,000-odd expected by economists.
- The unemployment rate increased to 3.7%, two-tenths of a percentage point higher than expectations.
What does this mean?
The job openings in the U.S. is still high & the pace of job cuts is low, showing that most companies still want to hire & that the economy isn’t likely in a recession.
What is Federal Reserve doing?
The institution is rapidly increasing interest rates to ease hiring and wage growth, which have been constantly strong. The Federal Reserve officials hope that by increasing borrowing costs across the economy, they can cut the inflation rate, which is at a near-40-year-high.
Cloudflare Blocks Kiwi Farms Due to Threat to Humans 🚨
Internet infrastructure company Cloudflare has blocked Kiwi Farms, an online forum known for its trolling and hateful content.

Why did Cloudflare block Kiwi Farms?
The company has blocked Kiwi Farms, citing them as a threat to human life.
In an announcement, the company said, “We have blocked Kiwifarms.” It added, “the rhetoric on the Kiwifarms site and specific, targeted threats have escalated over the last 48 hours to the point that we believe there is an unprecedented emergency and immediate threat to human life unlike we have previously seen from Kiwifarms or any other customer before.”
About Kiwi Farms:
Launched in 2013, Kiwi Farms was created by 8Chan’s former administrator, Joshua Moon. It is an online forum dedicated to the discussion and harassment of online figures and communities.
It is reportedly one of the biggest communities of stalkers with harassment so severe that the site has been blamed for the deaths of several victims.
